Printfuse is a pressure-sensitive fusible stabilizer. It can be repositioned many times; however, once the heat is applied, Printfuse is permanently bonded to almost any fabric. Printfuse is suitable to be put through your inkjet printer; this makes it so easy to transfer your designs to Printfuse and then fuse them to fabric to turn them into applique.
TECHNIQUE
1. Print
Step 1: Prepare the print image to the correct size on your PC.
Step 2: Place one sheet of Printfuse into the printer tray and commence printing.
Step 3: Allow a few minutes for the ink to dry.
2. Fuse
Step 1: Press the Printfuse to the wrong side of your fabric using a medium setting on your iron (no steam). The fusible side of Printfuse is the soft exposed side. Hold the iron in place for 3 seconds and then turn over and iron the fabric side.
Step 2: Once cooled, cut out your design.
3. Peel
Step 1: Peel back the protective release paper to reveal the sticky surface. It is best to let the applique cool before removing the paper.
Step 2: Position the applique onto your quilt or garment and press into place. (NB: Can be repositioned many times.)
step 3: When happy with the placement, press both the applique side and the fabric side for the best bonding. (***NB: Bonds permanently to most fabrics.)
We charge a flat rate of $17.00 except for 100cm x 100m backing rolls. We increase the flat rate without notifying our customers when Australia Post increases postage charges
Most of our orders weigh 1 – 3kg and our flat rate is based on what Australia Post charges us for 1 – 3kg.
We refund the difference if the freight costs less than the flat rate.
If it is safe to do so and if you give us an instruction to leave goods at your door or somewhere safe (preferably where it is not visible from the street), we have options to find the best freight cost rate (either Courier or Post service).
